SASSA are going to be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a statement, the agency claimed it really is alarmed regarding the superior variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“That is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office focused on service the area regularly. The services position established for intervention experiences a significant inflow of possible beneficiaries, that makes it tricky for the office to attend to all people who take status sassa a look at a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional sources to empower the servicing of all buyers and maximize access to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
